WICHITA — A man who had been shocked with a Taser during an apartment robbery Friday afternoon chased the suspects in his car and shot their car several times, police said.
It happened a few blocks east of Oliver on 21st Street, Sgt. Steven Yarberry said today.
No one was hospitalized.
Police said a 29-year-old woman and two men, ages 26 and 24, were in their apartment when someone knocked on the door at about 2:15 p.m.
One of the men opened the door and a man in his 20s pointed a handgun at him and told everyone to get on the floor.
A second man came in and shocked one of the victims with a Taser before demanding drugs, money and jewelry.
Police didn't say what was stolen.
But after the robbers left, one of the people in the apartment chased them and fired several shots, some of which hit their car.
Police later found the car, but didn't find the suspects.
