NEW CAMBRIA, Kan. | The deaths of three people at a rural home in central Kansas are being investigated as a possible homicide-suicide.
The bodies were found Thursday afternoon after Saline County authorities spent more than four hours negotiating with a man in the home.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says a man called his sister Thursday morning saying he had killed his parents. Deputies arrived shortly before 10 a.m. at the home in New Cambria, a few miles northeast of Salina.
When the negotiations broke off, members of the Salina Police Department's Special Response Team went inside and found the bodies.

Authorities were withholding the names while relatives were notified.
