NEW CAMBRIA, Kan. | The deaths of three people at a rural home in central Kansas are being investigated as a possible homicide-suicide.
The bodies were found Thursday afternoon after Saline County authorities spent more than four hours negotiating with a man in the home.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says a man called his sister Thursday morning saying he had killed his parents. Deputies arrived shortly before 10 a.m. at the home in New Cambria, a few miles northeast of Salina.
When the negotiations broke off, members of the Salina Police Department's Special Response Team went inside and found the bodies.
