Medical clinic reopens after bomb threat

WICHITA — The Kansas Joint and Spine Institute has re-opened after a morning bomb threat caused the building to be evacuated.

The office received a call around 10:30 a.m. saying there was a bomb in the building, CEO Gary Seitz said. The building, at 10100 E. Shannon Way Circle, was evacuated about 15 minutes later. Police swept the area and determined there was not a threat, and people were allowed back into the building.

The building is near Webb between 13th Street and Central.
