Search for bank robbers continues

Authorities are still looking for three men who robbed a west Wichita bank over the noon hour on Wednesday afternoon.

The three men were all wearing black clothes and black masks when they went into the Bank of Kansas branch at 10111 West 21st at 12:15 p.m., Lt. Joe Cutcliff said.

One of them was holding two guns _ a handgun and a TEC-22 automatic rifle. The other two suspects each held a handgun.

They left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a green Ford Taurus that turned out to be stolen. That car was found a short distance away on 20th Street North, Cutcliff said.
