Because of numerous requests from readers, The Wichita Eagle has published a 12-page reprint of the eight-part serial narrative "The Miracle of Father Kapaun."
The reprint is available at the front counter of the newspaper at 825 E. Douglas.
The cost of a reprint copy is $2. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on holidays.
The series, written by Roy Wenzl, ran in daily chapters from Dec. 6 to Dec. 13. It told the story of Korean War hero Emil Kapaun, a Catholic priest and U.S. Army chaplain from Pilsen. The reprint includes the series plus many photographs not used in print.
