KC woman dies in road-rage crash

A Kansas City, Kan., woman was killed in Wyandotte County early today in a crash that was caused by road rage, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. when a 2004 Chevy Blazer driven by Tamiko M. Suttington, 29, and an unknown vehicle were swerving at each other on Interstate 635 at K-5, according to the accident report.

Suttington lost control of the Blazer, and it struck a wall. Suttington died in the crash, and two of her passengers, a 30-year-old Lenexa woman and a 28-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, were taken to a hospital with possible injuries, the report said. Suttington and one of her passengers were not wearing seat belts.
