KC woman dies in crash attributed to road rage

A Kansas City woman was killed in Wyandotte County early today in a crash that was caused by road rage, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred shortly after 1 a.m. when a 2004 Chevy Blazer driven by Tamiko M. Suttington, 29, and an unknown vehicle were swerving at each other on Interstate 635 at Kansas Highway 5, according to the accident report.

Suttington lost control of the Blazer, and it struck a wall. Suttington died in the crash, and two of her passengers, a 30-year-old Lenexa woman and a 28-year-old Kansas City man, were taken to a hospital with possible injuries, the report said. Suttington and one of her passengers were not wearing seat belts.
