WARSAW, Mo. | A new preliminary hearing date has been set for the man suspected of killing three people at their home in western Missouri.
Robert Blurton's preliminary hearing will be March 3 in Benton County court. The 45-year-old resident of Garnett, Kan., is jailed on $3 million bond.
Blurton is charged with first-degree murder in the June 7 deaths of 64-year-old Donnie Luetjen, 61-year-old Sharon Luetjen and their 15-year-old granddaughter, Taron Luetjen. They were shot to death at their Cole Camp home.
At the preliminary hearing, prosecutors plan to present evidence to convince the judge the state has enough evidence to try Blurton in the deaths.
