The Sedgwick County Health Department is reminding parents that children under age 10 need two doses of H1N1 vaccine, given 28 days apart. The department opened its H1N1 vaccine clinic to children about a month ago, so those who got doses in the early days need to return now.
In addition, younger students who got their first dose of vaccine at a school clinic will need to get their second dose at the Health Department clinic, which is at 4095 E. Harry, or from a private provider.
The clinic is open from 2 to 7 p.m. daily through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The vaccine is free.
