Roseanne Becker is the new chief development officer at the Emporia State University foundation.
Becker, a resident of Leawood, has more than 20 years of fundraising experience including most recently serving as vice president of university advancement at Ottawa University; and assistant vice president for development for Creighton University.
"She is a consummate fundraiser with a strong history of major gift fundraising, and she will also be an energetic mentor to the fundraising staff," said Judith Heasley, ESU Foundation president and CEO of university advancement.
Becker received her master's degree in human resources from Ottawa University and, her bachelor's in art history from the University of Kansas.
Her first day is Oct. 26.
