Police investigate vandalism case

WICHITA _ Police are investigating a vandalism case that resulted in some gun shots fired.

Police were called to the 800 block of North St. Paul shortly after 2 a.m. today when a witness reported hearing a disturbance from a party, according to Sgt. Anna Hatter, spokeswoman for the Wichita Police Department.

The witness told police four men were seen "chasing another man from St. Paul towards Murdock and were shooting at him," Hatter said. "When officers arrived at the scene, they saw evidence of a gun having been discharged."

A mail box was damaged and there was at least one shot fired at the Grace Assembly Church.

"No victims were located and no one reported they had been injured," Hatter said.
