Docking, Murfin named to KU Endowment Board

Two Wichitans , Jill Docking and David Murfin, were among seven new members named today to the University of Kansas Endowment Board of Trustees.

Docking is the chair of the Kansas Board of Regents and a vice president for Wells Fargo Advisors in Wichita. Murfin is president of Murfin Drilling, as well as chairman and CEO of Murfin Inc.

They were selected at the board's annual meeting in Lawrence.

The other new members are Gregory Graves, Stilwell, board chairman and CEO of Burns and McDonnell; Ramon Murguia, Kansas City, Kan., attorney; Warren Newcomer Jr., Topeka, president of Newcomer Funeral Service Group; William B. Taylor, Overland Park, retired from financial services; and Greg Thomopulos, Iowa City, Iowa, president and CEO of Stanley Consultants in Muscatine, Iowa.
