WICHITA — An early-morning fire has forced three families from a fourplex in south Wichita today.
The fire was reported just after 4 a.m. at 2923 S. Richmond Court, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. The Red Cross has been called out to assist the families displaced by the fire.
A total of seven people have been forced out by the fire, which investigators said caused an estimated $90,000 damage. Fire Capt. Stuart Bevis said the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
