A little good news is here for U.S. 69 drivers.
Highway crews will be opening the ramps to and from southbound 69 at 95th Street Friday in Overland Park if the weather cooperates.
The ramps have been closed since mid-August because of the ongoing $82 million widening project on U.S. 69 between I-35 and I-435.
The project has been marked by repeated lane closures on U.S. 69 that can slow traffic moving through a key corridor that gets people to southeast Johnson County.
The entire project isn’t scheduled to be done until late 2011.
