A 36-year-old man was arrested shortly after a robbery Tuesday night, and police think he may be responsible for more than a half-dozen other robberies in recent weeks.
A knife was brandished in each of those hold-ups, Lt. Joe Cutcliff said today.
Three robberies featuring a suspect armed with a large, silver-bladed knife were committed Tuesday morning, and three others occurred on Monday, Cutcliff said.
Along with the similar description of the weapon, he said, mannerisms and other characteristics appear to link the suspect with numerous recent robberies.
A 23-year-old woman was also arrested Tuesday night in connection with a robbery at the Liquor Stop, 1048 W. Pawnee. Cutcliff said police are looking into whether she was involved in any of the other recent robberies as well.
