Checkpoint yields 10 DUI arrests

In a Kansas City sobriety checkpoint on Friday from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., police arrested 10 motorists for driving under the influence. Three drivers were charged with possession of marijuana.

Police stopped 336 vehicles in north- and south-bound traffic at 634 Prospect Ave. Among the arrests, one driver had a revoked license and two were cited for hazardous driving.
