Wrong cheeseburgers lead to beating

WICHITA — A 25-year-old man showed up at Wesley Medical Center on his bicycle late Wednesday night with injuries from a beating that turned out to include a broken jaw.

He brought the wrong kind of cheeseburgers to a 27-year-old man, he told police, so he was beaten.

The incident was reported from the hospital shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday. The victim said the suspect is an unknown black man who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 320 pounds.

He has a shaved head, and was wearing a black shirt and light blue jeans. He was driving a newer-model white Pontiac Bonneville.
