WICHITA — Today's weather should be a little cooler than what had been forecast, with a high between 85 and 90 degrees in the Wichita area.
With grass and trees greener than normal for August, the humidity is higher, and without the typical dry conditions, it's harder for temperatures to soar to 100, said Joe Rosner, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wichita.
It will be another windy day, with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tonight, the low should be around 70.
