Shots fired at house on St. Francis

WICHITA — Someone fired several shots at a house in south Wichita early Wednesday morning, police said, but no injuries were reported.

The shooting occurred at about 2:10 a.m. in the 1700 block of South St. Francis, but the home's resident didn't report it until midafternoon.

A neighbor told police they saw a man shoot four times at the house over the hood from the passenger side of a Mazda or Nissan.

Three people were in the targeted house at the time of the shooting, police said: a 19-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy.
