Shots fired at Wichita house with children inside

WICHITA — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting late Monday night on North Estelle.

A 33-year-old woman told officers that someone drove by her house in the 2500 block of North Estelle at about 10 p.m. and fired several shots at her house.

Four young children — boys ages 10, 7 and 5, and a 4-year-old girl — were with her inside the house, but no injuries were reported.

The woman said she saw a gold Buick LeSabre, followed by a two-tone Buick Regal. She told police she may know who was responsible for the shooting incident, but no suspects are in custody.
