Kansas City police officers late Monday found a man in his late teens dead in the middle of Olive Street.
About 11 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Olive, said Officer Darin Snapp, a public information officer for the department.
Officers at the scene said it appeared that the victim had been shot once in the head.
As of midnight, police had not confirmed the victim’s identity. They also had not found any witnesses or suspects.
