Wichita gang member gets eight years in prison

The U.S. Attorney's Office said Thursday that 35-year-old Mario Hutton pleaded guilty earlier to conspiracy to engage in racketeering and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

Hutton said he had been a member of the Crips in Wichita for 17 years, selling crack cocaine to fellow gang members and others.

Four other gang members have been sentenced and three more are slated for sentencing later this year.
