NASCAR points leader Tony Stewart to attend Chamber Day at Kansas Speedway

Kansas Speedway will play host to its seventh annual Office Depot Chamber Day on Oct. 2, and this year's event will feature NASCAR Sprint Cup points leader Tony Stewart.

The event, an opportunity to network with business leaders from more than 30 Kansas City-area chambers of commerce, will take place during Qualifying Day for the Price Chopper 400 presented by Kraft Foods.

The Chamber Day event is particularly meaningful for Stewart, a two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion who has taken on the role of driver/team owner with Stewart-Haas Racing and is sponsored by Office Depot.

“I know how challenging it is to build a successful business and how much hard work it takes,” said Stewart, who won the 2006 Cup race at Kansas Speedway. “Networking is very important no matter what business you are in, and Office Depot Chamber Day is an excellent opportunity for area business leaders to interact and build those important relationships.”

Tickets for Office Depot Chamber Day can be purchased through local chambers of commerce.
