LAWRENCE | In a case that involves several twists, a 75-year-old Kansas City man has been arrested in a 1990 death of a Leavenworth County man.
Prosecutors say Eric Montgomery has been charged with aiding in the death of Lloyd Folsom near Bonner Springs in April 1990.
Prosecutors say another man, Everett Bishop, killed Montgomery. Two weeks after a trial in that case, Bishop was killed by a third man, Sherrill Gary Brinkley. Brinkley is currently serving a 24-year sentence for Bishop's murder.
During Brinkley's trial, Montgomery testified under immunity that he was present at the murders of Folsom and Bishop, but did not kill either man.
