Driving in North Kansas City will take another hit this morning because of the Paseo Bridge project.
The ramp from Armour Road to southbound I-29/35 will be closed for about a year starting at 8:30 this morning.
Drivers will be detoured from Armour Road to Linn Street where they can get to southbound I-29/35 from the Linn Street/16th Avenue interchange.
That detour isn’t necessarily the best, however.

If you’re a Johnson Countian who happens to work at Cerner or at North Kansas City Hospital, you might consider taking I-29/35 north to I-635 and head back south toward Kansas. You also might proceed east on Missouri 210 over to I-435 and head south back to Kansas.
Similar ideas might work for drivers who live in Liberty: Try taking Missouri 210 east and hop back on I-435 to go north.

The Missouri highway department is replacing the cloverleaf interchange at Armour Road/Missouri 210 as part of the Paseo Bridge project. The cloverleaf is being replaced with an interchange that has only two loops instead of four. Drivers will eventually have two straights ramp onto Armour Road/Missouri Road 210 from northbound and southbond I-29/35.
