WICHITA _ Wichita police added 41 more citations today to the stack of tickets piling up since a crackdown on speeding and aggressive drivers on Kellogg began July 1.
Twelve speeding tickets were issued in the vicinity of Kellogg and Seneca, 25 were issued near Kellogg and Mid-Continent Road, and four were written next to Kellogg and Tyler Road.
Rain cut short the operation, police said.
The highest speed recorded was 90 mph in a 60 mph zone. Since the month-long crackdown began, 738 traffic citations have been issued to motorists.
