WICHITA — Three adults — including an elderly man who had to be hospitalized — were beaten by intruders early this morning in south Wichita, police said.
The suspects entered through an unlocked front door of the house in the 3000 block of South Clifton at about 12:15 a.m., where they tied up and beat two men, ages 51 and 43, and also beat up a 72-year-old man.
They took cell phones, wallets and jewelry before leaving in a silver Honda, police said. The 72-year-old man was taken to Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Joseph Campus for treatment.
