A middle-age man was stabbed Wednesday night in Kansas City at 43rd Street and Agnes Avenue.
The man’s injuries were critical and possibly life-threatening, said Sgt. Scott Simons of the Kansas City Police Department.
Police said they did not know many details about the 10:20 p.m. stabbing, as a group of young witnesses at the residence where the incident occurred were uncooperative with officers.
The discussion between police and the residents occasionally erupted into shouting and heckling.
Detectives said they were examining a red car that was parked in front of the residence. They also were interviewing neighbors and examining the front yard late Wednesday.
As of midnight, police had made no arrests.
