Argument leads to deadly shooting in KC

One man died and another suffered serious injuries after a dispute and a shooting Tuesday night in Kansas City.

Two men were arguing after 10 p.m. at 36th Street and Wabash Avenue before they began shooting at each other, said Sgt. Derek McCollum of the Kansas City Police Department.

One of the men, age 27, died at the scene. The other man, age 21, was driven a few blocks over to 35th Street and Park Avenue, where he flagged down police officers. He was taken to a hospital.

Police found two weapons at the scene.
