K-State rolls out football ticket options

Kansas State announced reduced price ticket options for this football season, especially targeting the Sept. 5 opener.

Think 1989. That was Bill Snyder’s first year on the Wildcats sideline and that’s how many general admission tickets will be sold for the opener against Massachusetts for $9 -- the ticket price in 1989.

Also planned for that weekend is a “K-State Family Reunion,” when all former Kansas State football players will be invited back to campus.

“We want 50,000 K-Staters to fill Bill Snyder Family Stadium,” Wildcats athletic director John Currie said.

Currie announced “K-State Pledge” season tickets, 1,200 tickets at $99 each.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 9 a.m. and must be ordered by Aug. 10.
