Kansas City police made three arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol overnight at three checkpoints along Interstate 435.
A total of 163 vehicles were stopped during the operation from 11 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday at locations on the city's east and south sides.
Several other people with outstanding warrants were arrested along with three arrests for driving with suspended or revoked licenses and two arrests for other traffic violations, according to police.
