Major case squad reconvenes in Cole Camp homicides

COLE CAMP, Mo. | The Rural Major Case Squad has reconvened to continue investigating the deaths of three people in Cole Camp.

Missouri Highway Patrol Sgt. Scott Meyer said Tuesday that about 15 investigators from at least 10 different law enforcement agencies began following leads and making contact with several individuals.

Robert B. Blurton, of Garnett, Kan., is being held at the Allen County jail on three counts of first-degree murder. Fifteen-year-old Taron Luetjen and her grandparents, Donnie Luetjen, 64, and Sharon Luetjen, 61, were found shot to death June 9 at their home in Cole Camp.

Blurton, a nephew of Donnie and Sharon Luetjen, is being held on $3 million bond.
