A Kansas City police checkpoint overnight netted seven arrests of people for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police set up at Blue Ridge Boulevard and Holiday Drive in south Kansas City from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. A total of 320 cars were stopped, police reported.
In addition to the DUI arrests, police also cited two motorists for driving with a suspended or revoked license, one for not using a seat belt, and officers picked up another motorist who had an outstanding warrant.
