ARCA series returns to Kansas Speedway on Oct. 1

Kansas Speedway confirmed today that the ARCA RE/MAX Series will return for a ninth season. The Kansas Lottery $150 Grand will race on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 4 p.m. and will be carried live by SPEED. The race date has been on the ARCA schedule, but Kansas Speedway had not officially listed it on its schedule until now.

The ARCA race will kick off the annual NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series events at Kansas Speedway.

Qualifying for the NASAR Sprint Cup Price Chopper 400 will be on Friday, Oct. 2; the Kansas Lottery 300 Nationwide Series race will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3; and the Price Chopper 400 -- the third leg of the Sprint Cup Chase for the Championship -- is set for Sunday, Oct. 4. "I'm looking forward to having the ARCA RE/MAX Series return to Kansas Speedway," said Kansas Speedway President Jeff Boerger. "The Kansas Lottery $150 Grand has provided some great racing, and last year's race saw current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Scott Speed visit victory lane for the first time in a stock car. ...

Tickets for the Kansas Lottery $150 Grand are on sale now and are available by calling 866.460.RACE, online at and at the Kansas Speedway ticket office. Advance tickets are $15 for reserved seats and $10 for general admission.
