UMKC athletic director withdraws from field for post at Southeast Missouri State

One day after Southeast Missouri State announced that UMKC athletic director Tim Hall was one of three finalists for its athletic director job, Hall withdrew his name.

“The direction of UMKC Athletics is strong, as is the support from the university and our Kansas City community,” Hall said. “This loyalty sustains our work in building a premier athletics program, and I look forward to continuing my partnership with the students, coaches and staff in the UMKC Athletics Department, UMKC and Kansas City.”

Hall became UMKC athletic director Feb. 14, 2007.
