COLUMBIA | Missouri won’t make a public announcement until later this afternoon, but the Tigers will play a Big 10 Conference opponent in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29 in San Antonio.
“It’s official,” MU athletic director Mike Alden said shortly after Missouri’s 93-66 basketball victory over California on Sunday afternoon.
The opponent is expected to be Northwestern. In the latest Associated Press top 25 football poll, 9-3 Northwestern is ranked No. 22. Missouri, 9-4, is ranked No. 25.
