SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico | Missouri struggled early but closed the first half on a 30-9 run and blew past Fairfield 87-59 in the loser’s bracket of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off tournament on Friday.
The victory boosted Missouri to 3-1 and into the fourth-place game of the tournament, at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. The Tigers’ opponent will be the winner of Friday’s 4 p.m. game between Tennessee-Chattanooga and USC.
