Public forum to discuss how we live

A public forum Wednesday on how we live and create communities will kick off a year-long series of programs focusing on people and the built environment.

Called “Time to Live,” the forum, from 5:15 to 7 p.m. at the Sylvester Powell Community Center, 6200 Martway, Mission, will include a panel of architects and writers. The event is one of three forums scheduled this year as part of “KC Snapshot,” sponsored by the Greater Kansas City chapter of the American Institute of Architects in honor of the national organization’s 150th anniversary.
