One of the Kansas City area’s first stimulus projects is going to inconvenience drivers overnight tonight.
Highway crews will close the ramp from southbound I-29 to Mexico City Avenue for pavement repairs. This is the ramp that gets many southbound drivers to the economy lots at Kansas City International Airport. The closure will run from 9 tonight until 5 a.m.
This closure is part of an $11.7 million project that will resurface parts of I-29 and improve the shoulders at various locations from Missouri 273 to Vivion Road.
