OKLAHOMA CITY | Missouri fell in the Big 12 Baseball Championship game to Texas 12-7 on Sunday.The Longhorns scored 11 runs in the fourth inning.
The Tigers entered the ninth trailing 12-4, scored twice and had the bases loaded with nobody out. But they could muster only one more run.
Missouri, the third-seed, falls to 34-25 and will learn its destination in the NCAA Tournament when the field is announced at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Texas, the top seed, won its second straight Big 12 tournament. The Longhorns got a grand slam from designated hitter Cameron Rupp in their big inning.
