Kansas falls to Baylor in Big 12 baseball tournament

OKLAHOMA CITY | Kansas completed a winless Big 12 Baseball Championship with an 8-4 loss to Baylor on Saturday.

The Jayhawks fell behind 6-0 after two innings before getting a third-inning grand slam from third baseman Tony Thompson.

But that would be it for Kansas, which fell to 37-22 overall.

Despite the loss, the Jayhawks should be in good shape for an NCAA Tournament invitation when the bracket is announced on Monday.
