Kansas swine flu count jumps by 10 to 62 cases

Health officials say Kansas has 10 new cases of swine flu, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 62.

No deaths from the flu have been reported in Kansas since the outbreak of the H1N1 virus began in late April.

The new cases are three adults in Geary County, three adults and two children in Riley County, a child in Saline County and a child in Wyandotte County.

The total number of confirmed cases by county as of Thursday stand at two in Dickinson, one in Ford, 14 in Geary, 11 in Johnson, one in Ottawa, 15 in Riley, five in Saline, one in Sedgwick and 12 in Wyandotte.
