If you despise the interchange where I-35, I-435 and K-10 converge in southwest Johnson County, now’s your chance to do something.
Kansas highway planners have scheduled a meeting for Thursday afternoon to show residents what the problems are at the interchange and take public feedback about what’s become ignominiously known as the Johnson County Triangle.
The open-house style meeting will run from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Lenexa Conference Center, 11184 Lackman Road.
The interchange is often the scene of backups in the morning on northbound I-35 from Olathe up to Lenexa and on westbound I-435 in trhe afternoon as drivers try to cross a long flyover ramp from Overland Park to Lenexa and Olathe.
