The Chiefs may have found their new starting center.
The club announced on Thursday the signing of unrestricted free agent center Eric Ghiaciuc, who has been the Cincinnati Bengals starter for the past four years.
Ghiaciuc (whose last name is pronounced GUY-check) has appeared in 48 games (42 starts) during his career with Cincinnati in 2005-08. He was the Bengals' fourth-round draft choice in 2005.
Ghiaciuc became expendable in Cincinnati after the Bengals took Arkansas center Jonathan Luigs in the fourth round of the draft.
