Bank of Weston robbed

The FBI is investigating an armed robbery that took place this morning at a Northland bank.

Spokeswoman Bridget Patton said the robbery occurred at 11:40 a.m. at the Bank of Weston, 6510 N.W. Prairie View Road. The suspect brandished a weapon and gave the teller a note. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 160-180 pounds, with a medium build. He was wearing a tan baseball cap, a plaid button-down shirt and sunglasses. There was no description of a vehicle.
