Build-A-Bear stuffing blaze shuts down I-70 near St. Louis

O'FALLON, Mo. | A tractor-trailer carrying stuffing used for Build-A-Bear Workshop was destroyed after an accident on Interstate 70 outside of St. Louis.

The semi driver apparently lost control because of slick road conditions and wrecked early Friday in the St. Charles County town of O'Fallon. Inside the tractor-trailer was stuffing for St. Louis-based Build-A-Bear Workshop, whose stores allow customers to make their own stuffed animals.

The truck driver was not hurt.

The crash caused a lengthy shutdown of westbound I-70. It took firefighters hours to put out the blaze.
