Man questioned about Missouri death faces drugs-for-sex charge

MIAMI, Okla. | A man who has been questioned about an Oklahoma woman who died at a Missouri hospital is accused of selling and exchanging prescription drugs for sex.

A felony count of delivery of a controlled dangerous substance was filed Friday against 67-year-old Bobby Joe Stogsdill, of Fairland. Stogsdill was arrested Thursday and jailed with bail set at $10,000.

According to a court affidavit, Stogsdill is accused of selling a muscle relaxer.

A sting was set up Thursday in Miami, Okla., where the affidavit alleges that Stogsdill sold 10 pills to a confidential informant for $30.

Stogsdill also is listed as a person of interest in the case of 29-year-old Amber G. Barr, who died Sunday at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
