Highway patrol identifies man killed in Thursday accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a Republic man who died Thursday in Rogersville as Wayne Michael L. Moore, 38.

Moore failed to stop at a stop sign late Thursday morning, driving into the path of a pickup truck, according to a preliminary report from the highway patrol. Moore, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The driver of the pickup, a 28-year-old Birchtree, Mo., man, was tested for alcohol.
