DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | Tony Stewart survived a couple of final-lap bumps to the rear end of his car from Kyle Busch to win Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide series race at Daytona International Speedway.
The taps to the bumper not only failed to move Stewart out of the way, but they got Busch loose and sent him backward. He was credited with a fourth-place finish.
Carl Edwards of Missouri finished second while Kansas' Clint Bowyer was third.
Edwards said he thought about trying to squeeze past Stewart at the end but instead did the smart thing as he will be attempting to win the championship this year.

Bowyer said: "That was fun but frustrating. This place you work your butt off to win at, but we'll just have to wait."
