K-State makes it four in a row, beating Iowa State 65-50

MANHATTAN, Kan. | Denis Clemente led four players in double figures with 15 points as Kansas State clawed its way to a 65-50 victory Tuesday against visiting Iowa State at Bramlage Coliseum.

It was the Wildcats' fourth consecutive win, upping their overall record to 15-7 and 4-4 in the Big 12.

Jacob Pullen (13 points), Dominique Sutton (13 points) and Darren Kent (10 points) led the way for K-State, which shot just 39 percent from the field. The Wildcats outrebounded the Cyclones, though, 49-32, led by Sutton's 10 and nine apiece from Luis Colon and Kent.

Craig Brackins, the No. 2 scorer in the conference, and Jamie Vanderbeken paced Iowa State (12-10, 1-6) with 14 points each. The Cyclones turned the ball over 11 times as well.

The Wildcats led 27-22 at halftime.

K-State's next game is Saturday at Texas A&M.
